April DUI Arrests Did Not Discriminate | Coover & Associates

On behalf of Coover & Associates | May 3, 2013 | Firm News

All walks of life are impacted, not just Joe Sixpack as evidenced below:

Veteran Sportscaster AL Michaels was recently arrested for a DUI after allegedly making an illegal U-turn to avoid a DUI checkpoint in California.

Travis County, Texas District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg was arrested for a DUI in April as well. The politician was filmed while being booked and the video went viral due to her behavior. The video coupled with the DUI arrest some speculate may be enough to put a premature end to her political career.

Actress Reese Witherspoon was charged with a disorderly conduct in conjunction with her husband’s April dui arrest. The way Witherspoon acted and asking the officer if he knew her name brought her some bad press along with her arrest which she blames on one drink too many.

Former NBA star Kenny Anderson was relieved of his private school coaching position after he was arrested for his  Second DUI offense since being hired by the school.

Elementary school Principal Kim Warren was arrested for drunk driving and removed her handcuffs while in the back of the police cruiser. She was pulled over for swerving and an open vodka bottle was found at her feet. Principal Warren has been suspended from her job in Michigan.

Comedian Kevin Hart was arrested for a DUI after he was said to be driving erratically and going 90mph and nearly striking a tanker trunk in California.

If you drink and drive, you are placing yourself in peril of a Pennsylvania DUI Arrest or for that matter anywhere else in the nation. Please remember, no matter what your background is or who you are, you aren’t immune from detection if you drive impaired.
