Amber L. McCloskey

Biography

Amber L. McCloskey, Esquire is a central Pennsylvania native having grown up in Blair County. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University (We Are!) in 2014 with a bachelors in Political Science before pursuing a Paralegal Certificate and Advanced Legal Research Certificate from George Mason University in 2015. Amber went on to paralegal at multiple mid to large size firms in the Philadelphia area before pursuing her dream of becoming an attorney. Amber attended Appalachian School of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2020. 

 During her time in law school she interned with the Buchanan County Commonwealth's Office working with their District Attorneys on criminal matters. She was also a Senior Editor for the Law Journal and held various offices in clubs and organizations on campus. After law school she accepted a position as a law clerk before transitioning into a full time attorney position after passing the bar. Amber has extensive experience representing parties in all stages of litigation in custody, divorce, Protection From Abuse, adoption, termination of parental rights, and Children and Youth Services matters.

 Outside of work Amber enjoys cross stitching and is a video game enthusiast. She resides in Dauphin county with her two tabby cats, Remus and Minerva
